Wrong Way Detection Installation on I-95 Southbound Exit 41 in Orange

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a wrong way detection installation on I-95 southbound exit 41 in Orange on Monday, March 25, 2024. This project is scheduled to occur the night of Monday, March 25 through the morning of Tuesday March 26, 2024. 

The work is being performed by the CTDOT Electrical Sign Installation, District 3 and TAPCO representatives.

LANE CLOSURE INFO 

Motorists can expect ramp closures on I-95 southbound exit 41 in Orange. Traffic control personnel and sign patterns will guide motorists around the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday night through Tuesday morning. Traffic will be detoured Exit 40 off-ramp (Woodmont Rd.) turn left off-ramp onto Woodmont Rd., turn left onto I-95 northbound and proceed to exit 41.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
