Wrong Way Detection Installation on I-84 Exits 28 and 32 Eastbound and Exit 29 Westbound in Southington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a wrong way detection installation on I-84 Exits 28 and 32 eastbound and Exit 29 westbound in Southington. The project DOT0170-3638CN is scheduled to begin Wednesday May 8, 2024.
This work is performed by the CTDOT Electrical Sign Installation, District 1 and TAPCO representatives.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-84 Exits 28 and 32 eastbound on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, and Exit 29 westbound on Thursday, May 9, 2024, in Southington. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists around the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
