The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that utility work will be performed on East Avenue between Fort Point Street and Winfield Street, under the East Norwalk railroad bridge in Norwalk. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, December 2 to Sunday, December 15, 2024.
The Frontier conduit lines are part of the advanced utility work to underground utilities in the area in preparation for improvements at the MNR Railroad bridge and roadway on East Avenue in East Norwalk.
This project is being performed by Frontier.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
East Avenue will be closed between Winfield Street and Fort Point Street from December 2 to December 15, 2024. Motorists will be detoured to Van Zant Street and Fort Point Street.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
