The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that structural repairs need to be made on the Bridge that carries U.S. Route 1 over Mystic River in Groton (Bridge #00362- Mystic Drawbridge) starting Wednesday, July 10, 2024. The project consists of structural repairs on the Bridge that carries US Route 1 over Mystic River in Groton/Mystic (Bridge #00362- Mystic Drawbridge) East and West Bound. The work is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10 to Friday July 12, 2024.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect a shoulder closed pattern and a single sidewalk closed with both travel lanes remaining open to traffic. Bridge No.00362 is on Route 1 (Mile point 109.10) in Mystic. The work schedule for this project is from 5:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10 to Friday July 12, 2024.

The Coast Guard and local emergency services will be notified of the operation. The bridge will be closed to marine traffic from 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10 to Friday July 12, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Periodic openings may occur during the work window.
