The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing routine maintenance on the Mystic Drawbridge starting Wednesday, June 26, 2024. The project consists of routine maintenance on Bridge No. 00362 on Route 1 in Mystic/Groton east and westbound. The night work is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27 and will be completed by June 28,2024 at 7:00 a.m.
This project is included in the CTDOT’s Bridge Maintenance Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect alternating lane closures for Bridge No.00362 on Route 1. (Mile point 109.10) in Mystic. The night work schedule for this project is from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.- Wednesday June 26 and Thursday, June 27, 2024. The rain date is scheduled for June 29 from 10:00 p.m. to June 30, 2024 at 7:00 a.m.
The bridge will be operational to boat traffic. The Coast Guard and local emergency services will be notified of this nighttime operation.
