Right Lane Closures and Rolling Roadblocks on I-95 North and Southbound in West Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an Aerial Cable Maintenance operation will require State Police to perform Rolling Roadblocks along with a closure of the right lane on I-95 north and southbound in West Haven. The first scheduled night work is to occur Sunday night, March 10 to Tuesday morning, March 12, 2024, and the second scheduled night work is to occur Sunday night, March 17 to Monday morning, March 25, 2024. There will be no night work on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23, 2024.
The power line operation will be performed by United Illuminating.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect right lane closure to occur on I-95 northbound in West Haven between Exit 43 (Campbell Ave.) and Exit 44 (Rt. 10 Ella Grasso Blvd) and I-95 southbound between Exit 46 (Sargent Drive) and Exit 44 (Rt. 10 Ella Grasso Blvd.) Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
