Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 7 and Route 812 in Canaan and North Canaan
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 7 from Route 63 to Route 44 as well as Route 812 in Canaan from US 7 to Route 63 in Canaan and North Canaan starting Monday, July 1, 2024. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.56 segment of Route 7 in Canaan and North Canaan as well as a 0.11 segment of Route 812 in Canaan. The milling of this project is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 1 and be completed on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to start on Monday, July 15 and be completed on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
This project is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 Maintenance Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
