The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 7 and 202 in Brookfield and New Milford from Route 202 (Federal Road) to the driveway of Windmill Diner Restaurant starting Sunday, August 4, 2024. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 6.84 segment of Route 7 and 202 in Brookfield and New Milford. The milling of this project is scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 4 and end on Thursday, August 15, 2024. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 18, and end on Thursday September 5, 2024. No work to be performed on the Labor Day holiday.
This project is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
