Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 32 in Montville

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 32 in Montville. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.93-mile segment of Route 32 in Montville. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Monday, June 17 through Friday, June 21, 2024.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Thursday, June 27 through Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

 

This project is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 32 from the Waterford/Montville Town Line to Massapeag Road in Montville. Traffic control personnel, crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
