Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 160 in Glastonbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 160 in Glastonbury from the West/East Bank of the Connecticut River to Route 17 Main Street. The project DOT01710506CN consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.27-mile segment of Route 160 in Glastonbury from West/East Bank of the Connecticut River to Route 17 Main Street. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Rafferty Fine Grading on Friday, June 7 to Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, June 12 to Monday, June 17, 2024, by Tilcon.

This project is included in the District 1, CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 160 in Glastonbury from West/East Bank of the Connecticut River to Route 17 Main Street. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is Friday, June 7 to Monday, June 17, 2024, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
