Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 12 in Norwich and Lisbon
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 12 in Norwich and Lisbon. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.00-mile segment of Route 12 in Norwich and Lisbon. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Monday, June 24 through Monday, July 1, 2024. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, July 10 through Monday, July 22, 2024.
This project is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 12 from Route 97 in Norwich to south of the Target entrance in Lisbon. Traffic control personnel, crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
