UPDATED: Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 108 in Shelton

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 108 in Shelton starting Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The project consists of milling and resurfacing 3.46 miles of Route 108 in Shelton. This project is scheduled to occur the night of Tuesday, September 3 through the morning of Friday, September 27, 2024.  The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, September 3 through Friday, September 13, 2024. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, September 15 through Friday morning, September 27, 2024.

This project is included in CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.  

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO 

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 108 from the intersection of Ripton Rd and Huntington Street to SR714 (Center Street).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday night through Friday morning).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
