The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed will be performed on Route 10 in Cheshire. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, September 10 and be completed on Monday, September 30, 2024. The project DOT01710506CN consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.81-mile segment of Route 10 in Cheshire from Route 42 (North Brooksvale Road) to Stoney Hill Road. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Rafferty Fine Grading on Tuesday, September 10 to Sunday, September 15, 2024. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Monday, September 16 to Monday, September 30, 2024 by Tilcon.
This project is included in CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 10 in Cheshire from Route 42 (North Brooksvale Road) to Stoney Hill Road. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is Tuesday, September 10 to Monday, September 30, 2024, 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday – Friday.
