The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Station Place Road in Stamford. This project is scheduled to occur on Friday, November 22 and be completed on Monday, November 25, 2024. The project 0301-0513 consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.25-mile segment of Station Place Road in Stamford from Washington Boulevard to Atlantic Street. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Manafort Brothers, Inc. on Friday, November 22 and be completed on Saturday, November 23, 2024. The resurfacing segment of this project by Manafort Brothers, Inc. is anticipated to begin on Saturday, November 23 to Monday, November 25, 2024.
Access to the Stamford Transit Center will be available via the East Pedestrian Bridge (located on the 4th floor) from the Atlantic Street Garage, and the West Pedestrian Walkway from the new South State Street Garage. South State Street will remain open for drop-offs and pick-up/taxi services will be relocated to the shuttle area under the highway (north of the station) while Station Place Road is closed.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures of Station Place Road from Washington Boulevard to Atlantic Street in Stamford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 9:00p.m. Friday, November 22 to 5:00a.m. Monday, November 25, 2024.
