The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 57 in Weston. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, October 15 and be completed on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The project 0173-0543 EE consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.74-mile segment of Route 57 in Weston from Trails End Road to Christopher Hill Road. This project is scheduled to begin milling by TILCON on Tuesday, October 15 to Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The resurfacing segment of this project by TILCON is anticipated to begin on Tuesday, October 15 to Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
This project is included in CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 57 from Trails End Road to Christopher Hill Road in Weston. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday to Wednesday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
