The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that aesthetic lighting installations will be performed on the Bulkeley Bridge in Hartford and East Hartford. This project is scheduled to occur on December 12, 2024, and be completed on April 14, 2025.
CTDOT Project No. 0063-0728 was awarded to Rotha Contracting Company. Inc. at a cost of $1,672,836 on November 13, 2024. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 1 in Rocky Hill, CT.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on I-84 east and westbound from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Traffic control signing patterns and State Troopers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
