The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing bridge work will be performed on the Putnam Bridge in Wethersfield/Glastonbury. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, December 2 and be completed on Friday, December 6, 2024. This project ensures the bridge remains in a state of good repair.
This project is being performed by Hartford Bridge Maintenance.

Motorists can expect nightly lane closures on the Putnam Bridge from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. One travel lane will remain open for the duration of the project. Traffic control signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone.
