The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge deck repair project will be performed on Bridge No. 03819 on I-95 northbound on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge in New London starting Thursday evening, July 25, 2024. The project consists of bridge deck repairs on Bridge No. 03819 on I-95 northbound on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge in New London. The nighttime work is scheduled for Thursday evening, July 25 to Friday morning, August 2, 2024.
This project is included in CTDOT’s Bridge Maintenance Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect right lane and shoulder closures on Bridge No. 03819 on I-95 northbound from Exit 83 to Exit 86 on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge (mile points 93.39 – 94.93) in New London. One (1) state trooper, crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday – Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
