The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an Aerial Cable Maintenance Operation will require State Police to perform rolling roadblocks and a right lane closure in both the north and southbound direction on Route 15 between Exits 55A and 58 in Orange starting Monday, July 29, 2024. The work is scheduled to occur the night of Monday, July 29 through the morning of Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
The Aerial Cable Maintenance Operation will be performed by Comcast.

Motorists can expect rolling roadblocks and a right lane closure to occur on Route 15 northbound from Exit 55A (Wheelers Farms Road) to Exit 58 (Route 34) and southbound from Exit 58 (Route 34) to Exit 55 (Wheelers Farms Road) in Orange. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday night through Tuesday morning.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
