Meet the Commissioner

DDS Commissioner Jordan A. Scheff

Jordan Scheff, Commissioner

Jordan Scheff has made it his life's work to help people with intellectual and developmental challenges. In January 2017, Governor Daniel Malloy made him Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services. The governor chose Jordan because he had worked for over 25 years to make sure all residents of our state have the support they need to live meaningful lives. Mr. Scheff continues to dedicate his efforts to this mission daily.
