Fleet Vehicle Training for Out-of-Scope Agencies

Overview

Fleet vehicle training is being rolled out to drivers who work at agencies outside of human resources centralization on a staggered basis. Drivers at the following agencies are required to take the GL115 Driver Training v2.0:

  • CT Lottery
  • UConn Health Center
  • Office of the Chief Medical Examiner
  • Capital Region Development Authority
  • Board of Pardons and Paroles

Employees of the agencies listed who operate DAS fleet vehicles should follow the below link to complete their training. The estimated time for completion is one hour.

Once an employee has completed their training, they should follow the documentation requirements established by their employing agency.

Continuing education

An agency may assign this continuing education course on a case-by-case basis to reinforce safe and compliant operation of a state-owned vehicle.  It is expected to take four hours in duration.
