How to check the status of your request to Rescind your Resignation in Good Standing or Voluntary Retirement

Use the Online Employment Center (JobAps) to check the status of your Rescind of Resignation or Retirement request.

Steps to Check Your Status

1. Go to the State of Connecticut Online Employment Center (JobAps):
   Log in to the State of Connecticut Online Employment Center (JobAps)
2. Select My Applications from the menu at the top of the page.
3. Enter your JobAps User ID and Password, then select Retrieve Application.
   Your My Applications – Personal Status Board will display.
4. Scroll down to the section titled Submitted and Unfinished Applications.
5. In the Job Title/Bulletin Number column (first column), locate any job number that begins with RESCND (Rescind of Resignation or Retirement).
   The naming convention is: RESCND–job class code–F.
6. In the Status/Disposition column (fourth column), review your status:
   • Eligible for Referral — Your request to rescind a resignation or retirement has been approved.
   • Inactivate Freenames — Your request has expired.
   • Inactive Eligible for Referral — Your request has been denied.

Note:
If you do not see a status listed, your application has not yet been reviewed.
