Project 0131-0213 Webpage

Welcome to the webpage for Project 0131-0213, Replacement of Computerized Traffic Signal System (CTSS) on Route 10 in Southington.

A virtual public informational meeting for the project will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. This meeting aims to inform the community about the proposed project, gather feedback, and answer any questions.

The project aims to replace the aging traffic signal infrastructure at intersections along the route by installing new traffic signal equipment and replacing the existing traffic signal system.

Right-of-way impacts are expected to be minimal around new signal equipment and sidewalks at some project intersections. New sidewalks may also be installed at some project intersections.

Construction is expected to start fall 2027, depending on funding, right-of-way acquisition, and permits. The estimated construction cost is $9 million. This project is anticipated to be undertaken with 100% state funds.
