Welcome to the webpage for State Project 108-191, Replacement of Bridge No. 01647 carrying Route 664 over Snake Meadow Brook, in Plainfield.

A virtual public informational meeting for the project will be held on March 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. This meeting aims to inform the community about the proposed project, gather feedback, and answer any questions.

The purpose of this replacement is to improve safety for drivers by installing a new structure that meets current design standards and removes load restrictions. The improvement may also accommodate potential future roadway adjustments for increased mobility.

Right-of-way impacts are anticipated to be minimal.

Construction is expected to start spring 2028, depending on funding, right-of-way acquisition, and permits. The estimated cost is $5 million, with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
