Welcome to the webpage for State Project No. 0427-0071, Greater New Haven Transit District New Facility Project in North Haven.
A virtual public informational meeting for the project was held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
This project will give the Greater New Haven Transit District a centralized facility to store, charge, and maintain their all-electric paratransit fleet, ensuring flexibility to meet growing demand and provide the best service to those in need.
Right-of-way impacts are not anticipated.
Construction is expected to start in spring 2027.The estimated cost is $79.6 million, with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
