Project 0070-0119 Webpage

Welcome to the webpage for Project 0070-0119, Replacement of Bridge No. 07119 Carrying Norwich Avenue over Goshen Brook in Lebanon.

A virtual public information meeting for the project will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.

This meeting aims to inform the community about the proposed project, gather feedback, and answer any questions.

This bridge replacement will address current structural deficiencies by improving safety and hydraulic performance. This will include full depth roadway reconstruction at each approach, re-grading of the existing channel embankments, and roadway safety improvements.

Right-of-way impacts associated with the proposed project include temporary impacts for the removal of the existing structure, grading of slopes, and for in-water work.  There will be permanent impacts associated with maintenance access around proposed guiderail.

Construction is anticipated to begin in 2028 based on the availability of funding. The estimated construction cost for this project is approximately $3 million. This project is anticipated to be undertaken with 80 % federal funds, and 20% state funds.
