CONSTRUCTION WEEKLY PROJECT UPDATE 04/28/2024 thru 05/11/2024
I-95 Northbound:
Day work:
A lane shift prior to Exit 91 is currently in place to guide traffic to the right to facilitate endblock modification work along the left shoulder at bridge 01802 over Taugwonk Road. This week, the current lane shift will be revised to shift traffic to the left to facilitate work along the right shoulder of bridge 01802. The lane shift on I-95 Northbound will begin prior to Exit 91 and extend for approximately 2200 feet and guide traffic to the left side while construction work is being performed along the right side of Bridge 01802 over Taugwonk Road.
Right shoulder full depth reconstruction work will continue to take place. Traffic will be shifted to the left to facilitate this work. The current lane shift starts approximately 1 mile south of Exit 92 and extends just past the Exit 92 on ramp. This lane shift will be revised and will now start at the beginning of the Exit 91 On Ramp and extend to the Exit 92 Off Ramp. The temporary concrete barrier will be shifted south to protect the current work zone. 11' lane widths will be utilized for right shoulder reconstruction work.
A lane shift prior to Exit 93 is currently in place to guide traffic to the right to facilitate work in the left shoulder at bridge 01815 over Route 216. This week, the current lane shift will be revised to shift traffic to the left to facilitate work along the right shoulder of bridge 01815. The lane shift on I-95 Northbound will begin prior to Exit 93 and extend approximately 1600 feet and will guide traffic to the left side while construction work is being performed along the right side of Bridge 01815 over Route 216.
A new lane shift will be introduced to I-95 Northbound. A lane shift will begin at the Exit 89 On Ramp and extend just past the Exit 90 On Ramp. This lane shift will guide traffic to the right side while construction work is being performed along the left sides of Bridge Nos. 01788 over Cow Hill Road, 01791 over Route 27, and 01794 over Jerry Browne Road.
Night work:
Lane shifts as noted above.
I-95 Southbound:
Day work:
Expect lane closers to facilitate construction sign installation, survey work, sedimentation control installation, etc.
Night work:
Expect lane closers to facilitate rumble strip removal, temporary line striping, and lane shifts.
