A virtual public informational meeting for the project will be held on June 12, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
This meeting aims to inform the community about the proposed project, gather feedback, and answer any questions. The meeting will take place on Zoom, and registration is required. A question and answer (Q&A) session will immediately follow the presentation, which will be recorded.
This project will include the replacement of the existing three-cell pipe arch culvert. The roadway of Route 85 at the project site is anticipated to be widened to improve accommodations for bicycle and pedestrian travel.
Right-of-way impacts are anticipated for this project and may consist of partial takes and easements.
Construction is expected to start spring 2028, depending on funding, right-of-way acquisition, and permits. The estimated cost is $5 million with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
