The project consists of installing a wrong-way detection system at the Exit 91 off ramp from I-95 southbound in Stonington. The nighttime project work is scheduled for Tuesday evening, August 8, 2023, to Wednesday morning, August 9, 2023. The rain date is Thursday evening, August 10, 2023, to Friday morning, August 11, 2023.
RAMP INFO:
Motorists can expect a temporary ramp closure to occur at the Exit 91 off-ramp from I-95 Southbound to
Route 234 (Pequot Trail) in Stonington. A detour will be in place at this location. Traffic will be detoured to
Exit 90 Southbound, left onto Route 27, left onto the I-95 Northbound connector, left at the fork onto I-95 Northbound and proceeding to Exit 91. Variable message boards will be set up approximately one (1) week prior to the work beginning. Crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The nighttime work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
