This project consists of guiderail and attenuator installation on a 0.88 mile segment of Interstate 95 Southbound in Orange and Milford and a 4.19 mile segment of Interstate 95 Northbound in Milford, Orange and West Haven. This night work is scheduled to occur Wednesday June 21, 2023 through the morning of Monday July 24, 2023.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s safety improvement program and is being performed by Atlas Fence.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect right lane closure on Interstate 95 Southbound, between the Morgan lane overpass and the Exit 40 off ramp (Woodmont Rd) in Orange and Milford and right lane closure on Interstate 95 Northbound between the Exit 40 (Old Gate Ln) off ramp and the Exit 43 (Campbell Ave) off ramp in Milford, Orange and West Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning).
No work will be performed from 6:00 am Friday June 30, 2023, until 8:00 pm Wednesday July 5,2023 due to the Independence Day Holiday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
