The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that alternating one-way traffic for concrete bridge deck repairs to Bridge #01487 on Route 177 over the Farmington River in Farmington (Unionville) will begin on June 28, 2023.
Beginning Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. on June 28, 2023, and continuing until work is complete, there will be alternating one-way traffic on Route 177 over the Farmington River. This work will include the milling of the bridge deck, the reconstruction of the north expansion joint, full-depth reconstruction of the four approaches to the bridge, performing partial-depth and full-depth concrete deck repairs, installation of the membrane waterproofing and the final paving and linestripping of Route 177.
Work will be performed during the nighttime between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The east and west sidewalks will be open during construction activities.
