The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that emergency washout roadwork repairs will be performed on Route 45 between Route 202 and Flirtation Avenue in Washington. It is scheduled to take place Thursday, July 13 and is scheduled to be completed on Friday, July 14, 2023. Road closures will take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. where the roadway will be open to traffic after 4:00 p.m. daily.

Motorists can expect Route 45 to be closed at Route 202 and Flirtation Avenue in Washington. A detour will be in place (Route 341 to Route 45). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be guide motorists through the work zone detour.
