The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.34-mile of Route 42 Beacon Falls and Bethany. The milling of this project is scheduled to start on Friday, June 16, 2023 and be completed Friday, June 23, 2023. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to start on Friday, June 30, 2023 and be completed on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. No work to be performed the day before or after the Fourth of July holiday.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2023 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday).
