The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a Pavement Marking Project will be performed on Route 291 westbound Exit 4 in Windsor on Friday February 10, 2023.
The project (# DOT0170-3638CN) consists of installing safety marking reflectors on the Route 291 westbound Exit 4 off- ramp as part of ongoing wrong way driver mitigation measures. This project is being performed by Safety Marking with the assistance of State forces. Work will occur on Friday February 10, 2023.
RAMP CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect Exit 4 on Route 291 westbound to be closed in Windsor for a duration of two hours while the work is being performed. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to alert motorists.
Motorist will have to continue to Exit 3 (Deerfield Road) taking a left at the end of the ramp to redirect to Route 291 eastbound. Work schedule for this project is between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
