Overnight Closure of Interstate 95 Southbound Exit Ramp 39A Milford, CT.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing an overnight closure of Exit Ramp 39A on I-95 Southbound will occur on May 16, 2023. 

Exit Ramp 39A on I-95 southbound will be closed for vehicular traffic on May 16, 2023. The road closure will start at 8:00 p.m. and go until 4:30 am the following day. In case of work cancellation due to inclement weather, the ramp closure will be rescheduled to May 17, 2023.

DOT Project No. 0083-0274 was awarded to Tilcon Connecticut Inc., at a cost of $19,651,967.00 on March 9, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed October 28, 2023.  This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 3 in New Haven.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

 

Exit Ramp 39A on I-95 Southbound will be closed for vehicular traffic on May 16, 2023. The road closure will start at 8:00 p.m. and go until 4:30 am the following day.

DETOUR INFO

I-95 Southbound Off-Ramp

Traffic will be detoured onto Exit Ramp 36 I-95 Southbound then to I-95 Northbound to Exit 39A.

I-95 Southbound On-Ramp

Traffic will be detoured onto Exit Ramp 40 I-95 Northbound then to Old Gate Lane and then to I-95 Southbound to Exit 39A.
