The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a joint and crack sealing project will be performed on selected sections of Route 7 North and Southbound in Danbury and Brookfield. The project consists of crack sealing a 4.11-mile segment of Route 7 north & southbound in Danbury/Brookfield. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, August 6 to Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane & ramp closures on Route 7 between Exits 11 - 12. Traffic control signing patterns and truck mounted attenuators will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
