The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing the installation of the Wrong Way Driver Counter Measure System on Route 91 south and Route 3 south in Wethersfield starting Wednesday, August 9 between the hours of 7:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m. This project will be performed by Hartford Electrical with the assistant of TAPCO and Superior Electrical representatives. Crash units will be provided by both Wethersfield and Glastonbury maintenance garages.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on the I-91 southbound exit 25S and on Route 3 southbound to end of the express way. The detour for Route 3 southbound and I-91 southbound exit 25S is to proceed onto I-91 southbound and then to Exit 24, take a right off the exit onto Route 99 south and follow detour signs back.
