The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that the I-95 Exit 91 northbound on-ramp in Stonington will be closed beginning December 4, 2023, during the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. for right shoulder reconstruction. The duration of nightly closures for Exit 91 northbound on-ramp is anticipated to be one week.
These closures will not take place on Saturday or Sunday.
CTDOT Project No. 0058-0340 was awarded to American Industries, Inc. at a cost of $38,250,000.00 on January 21, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed June of 2026. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
