The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on the right side of Interstate 84 eastbound and westbound in Farmington.
This work is scheduled to be begin on Monday June 26, 2023.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 84 eastbound and westbound in Farmington, from exit 39A to exit 38 in the right lane. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for installing this guiderail is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
No work will be performed from 6:00 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2023 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
