The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge joint repair project will be performed on Bridge No. 03819 on I-95 northbound on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge in New London on Thursday evening, December 7 to Friday morning, December 8, 2023.
This project is included in the CTDOT’s Bridge Maintenance Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect two (2) right lane and shoulder closures on Bridge No. 03819 on I-95 northbound from Exit 83 to Exit 86 on the Gold Star Memorial Bridge (mile points 93.39 – 94.93) in New London. Crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., Thursday – Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
