The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Interstate 291 Eastbound in Manchester on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 4:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The project (DOT0171-0451CN) consists of bridge concrete repairs on bridge #5846 in Manchester over the Exit 62 ramp to Buckland Street. This project is to be completed by Mohawk Northeast Inc. at a cost of $11,512.25.
This project is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2023 bridge maintenance, District 1 in Hartford Bridge Department.

Motorists can expect limited access on I-291 Eastbound overpass to I-84 Eastbound in Manchester. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. Work schedule for this project is from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday.
