The project consists of Safety and Technology Upgrades at Signalized Intersections at 39 locations in the towns/cities of Chester, Clinton, East Lyme, Essex, Groton, Ledyard, New London, Old Saybrook, Stonington, Waterford, and Westbrook. The project includes an organizational phase and a construction phase. The construction phase of the project is scheduled to commence on April 14, 2022. The following intersections are included:

DOT Project No. 172-485 was awarded to Ducci Electrical Contractors, Inc of Farmington, Connecticut at a cost of $3,188,000.00 on September 7, 2021 and is scheduled to be completed October 14, 2022. This project is administered by the District 2 Construction in Norwich.
