The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Service Route (SR) 501 from JCT I-84 to 0.08 MI n/o OP Rockledge Bk. in West Hartford.
The project DOT01710479CN “J” consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.52-mile segment of SR 501 from JCT Interstate 84 to 0.08 MI n/o OP Rockledge Bk. in West Hartford. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Tilcon Inc. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, to Friday, May 13, 2022. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, to Sunday, May 22, 2022, by Tilcon Inc.
This project is included in the District 1, Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 501 from JCT I-84 to 0.08 MI n/o OP Rockledge Bk. in West Hartford. The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Expect ramp closures between the dates of May 15 and May 24, 2022. I-84 westbound Exit 43 off ramp will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Exit 41. I-84 eastbound Exit 43 on ramp will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Exit 41
