The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a lane closure on Route 2 Westbound in Bozrah around October 17, 2022.
This is a Pavement Preservation project for sections of Route 2, I-95, and I-395.
DOT Project 0172-0500 was awarded to American Industries Inc. at a cost of $12,475,000.00 and is scheduled to be completed December 1, 2022. The project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
ROAD CLOSURE INFO
Beginning on/or about Monday October 17, 2022 and continuing to December 1, 2022 one lane of Route 2 Westbound will be closed for bridge work between Exit 24 and Exit 23. The work will be staged so that the right lane will be closed first then the left lane will be closed. The lane closure will be in place for the duration of the work.
