The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an electrical sign installation will be performed on Interstate 691 Eastbound in Meriden Sunday, November 13 and Monday November 14 from 7 p.m. - 5 a.m.
This project (DOT0171-0457CN) is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect ramp closures on I-691 Eastbound Exit 8 in Meriden. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. Work schedule for this project is from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday night into Monday morning.
DETOUR INFO:
Follow I-691 East Bound to Exit 12, Preston Ave. at the stop sign take left onto Preston Ave. and another left onto the on ramp for I-691 West Bound. Follow I-691 Westbound to Exit 8.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
