The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a concrete repair project will be performed during the day on Route 8 Northbound on the Exit 14 on-ramp in Shelton.
The project consists of concrete repair on Bridge# 571B in Shelton. This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, November 3, 2022 through Thursday November 10, 2022.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Mohawk Northeast.

Motorists can expect the ramp closure to occur on Route 8 Northbound Exit 14 on-ramp (from Howe Avenue) in Shelton. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The day work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday).
