The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an overnight bridge maintenance project will be performed on Interstate 84 in Willington and Union.
The project DOT0171-0452CN consist of bridge joint repair on I-84 Eastbound/Westbound between exits 69 and the Massachusetts state line in Willington & Union. This project is scheduled to begin bridge joint repair by Dynamic Surface applications LTD at a cost of $235,868.00 the night of Sunday September 11, 2022, through the morning of Friday September 30, 2022.
This project is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Bridge Maintenance, District 1 in Hartford.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect two lane closures on I-84 eastbound and westbound between exits 69 and the Massachusetts border in Willington and Union. The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
