The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that the Groton Boat Ramp and adjacent parking area beneath the Gold Star Memorial Bridge will be closed beginning on May 23, 2022.
The contractor shall be installing overhead working platforms and beginning the initial stage work associated with the Northbound Gold Star Memorial Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
DOT Project No. 0094-0256 was awarded to AETNA Bridge Company at a cost of $50,895,103 on December 1, 2021 and is scheduled to be completed June 25, 2025. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Division of Construction Operations, District 2 in Norwich.
