The project consists of the rehabilitation of Bridge Nos. 01708 and 03374, Route 2 over West Road. The lane closures will be implemented to facilitate the repair of the deteriorated deck ends and to replace the existing asphaltic plug joints.
DOT Project No. 0078-0092 was awarded to McNamee Construction Corp., of Oxford, CT, at a cost of $2,114,000.00 on November 20, 2020 and is scheduled to be completed in December of 2021. This project is administered by the Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
