The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the current detour for the section of Route 140 (Crystal Lake Road) that takes Route 30 (Stafford Road) to the intersection of Webster will be ending October 30, 2021.
The detour is being utilized to facilitate bridge construction activity.
The project consists of bridge rehabilitation (Bridge 02668) and full depth roadway construction on Route 140 over Charters Brook as well as sightline improvements at Webster Road at the intersection of Route 140, in Ellington.
